and airworthy collections
IWM Duxford is located on a former WWI and WWII airfield near Duxford in Cambridgeshire and is home to a superb collection of over 100 aircraft from around the world, as well as hosting various Air Displays throughout the year.
Date of visits:
2012, 2013, 2014 and 2016
30/11/2025
IWM Duxford is currently undergoing a decade-long, multi-million-pound transformation that includes closing the Land Warfare Hall, reconfiguring the AirSpace Hangar for Cold War and contemporary conflict exhibitions, with some of the larger aircraft moved outside. Further relocation of exhibits was expected in the week following our visit on 30th November 2025, resulting in some aircraft being out of position.
