The Royal Navy Historic Flight (RNHF) was first established at RNAS Yeovilton in 1972 to maintain and fly aircraft important to British naval aviation. The RNHF was disbanded on 31st March 2019 and the responsibility for maintaining and flying the aircraft was transferred to the civillian Fly Navy Heritage Trust 'Navy Wings', securing their long-term future flying as civilian rather than military aircraft.
